In response to the letter received from the Athens Exchange, with regard to an article of the electronic press on 27.01.2007, EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. does not comment on estimates of journalists or analysts regarding the Bank’s and Group’s future financial figures. Furthermore, attention is drawn to the fact that:
a. 2006 financial figures and results, as well as the new financial targets have not yet been finalized.
b. 2006 financial results will be announced and published in accordance with the Calendar of Corporate Events of 2006, which has already been made public by the means set out in the A.E. Regulations, and will be accompanied, as always, with the essential detailed information in order for the investors to have complete and accurate information of the progress of the business of EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. and its Group.
